Them Crooked Vultures- Bandoliers
Though a prominent portion of this album annoys me, I do love the amateur garage band sound in their recording as well as this song in particular. The line up and cover art is pretty rad too.

Singularity (video game)
Tried out ‘Singularity’. It’s like a desperate mash up of Bioshock, Call of Duty, FEAR, Half Life and the Fallout series. And here’s why:
1) Starts off with a COD-like introductory cinematic followed by a helicopter scene where your typical mute hero overlooks the scenery.
2) Helicopter crashes and you walk through the wreck and get weird psychic glimpses of the past.
3) You can open up chests and loot bright red syringes called ‘Stimpacks’ (they also have the funky golden glow around them).
4) Tape recordings and notes are left around the place where crazy scientists and survivors give convenient information to the hero.
5) Orangy timey-wimey sci-fi divices!!
6) There’s also that green text that appears when you position your reticle over an ally but I’m going to stop here because this is starting to make me dislike the game.
It’s fun but scary as shit (This coming from someone who indulges in Animal Crossing).
